Screencap from “Doofapus”. So this is how platyDoof looks like? I sort of liked fuwa’s version better.
Well at least he’s not a duck with a beaver tail taped to him! I agree, though: as soon as I heard about the episode I immediately thought of Fuwa’s art. They do look very similar, although the skinny neck on the platyDoof is bound to creep me out a bit…
hogwartsdreamer asked: how do you know about a theatrical phineas and ferb movie?
I don’t know of any recent articles on it but multiple sources say that there’s a theatrical movie hitting theaters July 26th, 2013.

JUST A GENERAL REMINDER THAT THERE IS GOING TO BE A PHINEAS AND FERB THEATRICAL MOVIE NEXT YEAR

Hey guys!
Sorry we’ve been a bit behind on updating, but there are quite a few new episodes (and big ones) that have aired that we haven’t seen yet (the disadvantages of not having cable) and browsing the P&F tags seems like a spoiler-filled endeavor. But we’ll catch up ASAP!
In the meantime here is a gif that I have not yet found a use for

Phineas and Ferb Episode Premieres for April 2012
“Meapless in Seattle” – Meap returns to save Phineas and Ferb from his nemesis Mitch, whose real mission is to take control of all of alien-kind, putting Meap’s world in danger. The boys’ ‘cute-tracker’ leads the gang to Seattle and an adventure to save the universe. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz decides to revisit his former nemesis, Peter the Panda, but when Agent P shows up, Dr. Doofenshmirtz finds that he has some explaining to do, in a new episode of “Phineas and Ferb,” FRIDAY, APRIL 6 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Lorenzo Lamas reprises his role as Meap and Jeff Foxworthy guest stars as Southern Meap.

“Delivery of Destiny” – Paul the Delivery Man discovers his job has a higher calling to save Danville as he makes stops at Phineas and Ferb’s house, Doofenshmirtz Evil, Inc. and the OWCA, in a special episode seen through his eyes. The rock band Love Handel reprises their role for some musical accompaniment. Christian Slater guest stars as Paul the Delivery Man.
“Buford Confidential” – Josette and Colette, the visiting Fireside Girls from France, help Isabella capture the American Grizzly Bear, one of the world’s most dangerous creatures. Buford’s plan to jokingly dress up as the bear backfires when he discovers the identity of one of the French Fireside Girls, throwing him off his game. Back at their grandparents’ cabin, Phineas and Ferb create the most amazing “run-through-the-sprinkler” experience. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s loathing of pretzels drives him to create the “De-Twist-Inator” to untwist every pretzel in Danville. Danica McKellar guest stars as Josette and Colette. This episode of “Phineas and Ferb” airs FRIDAY, APRIL 27 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
Thank you for posting!!
I am emotionally reacting to these teasers so much that I am literally having a non-reaction. Like I’ve transcended fan-girling into P&F geek nirvana. Peter the Panda. French Fireside Girls. Meap. I, to put it as eloquently as I can, can’t even.
But it just me, or is the series suddenly on a rampage of epic storytelling, new characters and all sorts of showdowns? I feel like the team is winding up for some kind of SLAM-BANG-POW Season 4, and it’s delicious. Big things are happening. I would advise the fandom to acquire and armor themselves with PLOT TWIST PROTECTION GEAR, which you can buy at your local hazmat and lab safety supply shop.

So.
As you may be aware, there is crazy stuff upcoming in new episodes (Buford and Doof, Candace and the Johnsons), but there’s something bigger in the works, from an announcement from team PhinFerb as part of the 2012-13 TV schedule…
[Spoilers! Y’know, for people who want to savor it]
